16) Wash hands. At all restaurants (I think it is mandatory) is an

The first while we were here, I wrote down in a small notebook I just think that was a little odd, quirky, mca21 funny or just stupid here in CA (now I can not speak for the entire United States - yet :)) Sorry You do not see so much of the fun things anymore, mca21 but fortunately there will occasionally just "hmm wonder" følelesen when you interact with American society - or whatever you want to call this multi-ethnic society we currently live. I am very much to come some visits, which can point and wonder, so I once again remember what it is you see it first while.
1) You are allowed to turn right on red! When we had just the country we wondered much about the 'idiotic' sign standing right in front of the airport, "Do not turn right at the red", well it did, after all it was us who were unaware ...
3) You do - near-not use the brush. The toilets are designed significantly different than at home, but very smart so the brush does not need to get as much use. The user also much more water, so it is design or water which cause I am somewhat a mystery.
4) There are fitted wardrobes in almost all occasions. If there is no walk-in-closet, the built-in cupboards - even in new construction. For us it is very convenient, but does of course also some limitations ifht. Decor. mca21
6) Many cars have a red flashing light! It's fucking annoying, mca21 and gives a little confused impression on the roads in the dark, and one out of the corner of your eye sees one that slow, but think he blinks. You become a little more calm when you learn that here is flashing before seeing mca21 if there is space and therefore fluctuates people and not simply those.
8) queue behavior. Yes, I know all I know is queue-assholes, mca21 but everyone I've met in Net in Denmark have been. If you open a new box, so render old Mrs. Madsen entire downstairs from the second mca21 line end of the store, to stand way in the newly opened box, even if it says 7 in line at the door, which of course is technically in front of her. It makes people not here, if that opens a new box, the cashier even be so polite just to tap you on his shoulder and say come with me - they are as I said damn nice here!
16) Wash hands. At all restaurants (I think it is mandatory) is an "All employees must wash their hands before they have to return to work." It's also good enough, I am surprised, however, that we have only seen one place that they have all been doing it!
- No flashing. People use very rarely turn signal, so you have to be really aware of traffic, especially in the city where lane changes often occur quickly and without warning. Femsporede freeways is also a bit of a challenge.
- Abbreviations. Americans love acronyms, mca21 so it may be hard to keep up sometimes. Some important: USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Service), DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles, BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit, the commuter trains in DK).
- No such thing as face value. Things always cost more than it says on the price tag because taxes and fees not included. Tax depends on the product, and food such as whether it is cold or hot food. The same applies tip - here you typically tip the double tax. If you order a beer at the bar you can do with a dollar per beer,
- Hurry up and wait is a known concept in the United States. Think inside the box is extremely prevalent, so you are often sent from queue to queue when you for example need to pay a bill. - And I love you paper and forms (all of whom have a wealth of abbreviations).
- Confusing menu. The first several times you are at the restaurant, you need the extra time to study the menu. It's amazing hard to decode mca21 all ingredients in a hurry, so you can not just jump on a burger you get sometimes a (somregel positive) experience when served. In addition, Mexican food which part is in Spanish / Mexican and you typically must make choices ifht. Bread, beans, dressing and so on.
I have not really thought about it long and short, but you have the absolutely right, they are the on and on! Have actually - in retrospect - noticed that they use them in novels, and then I have to resort to Google.
