My first overseas trip was actually to Berlin where I went with my mom and a friend of henne.Fyra days we were there, gse and we got there by plane from Bulltofta. The city was still as much in ruins and was a divided and ravaged city. We shall not go into this now, you have to constantly look forward. Of course you should look back and never forget, gse but we must look forward to the next day. Mom and her friend had probably imagined some fun in the evenings .. They probably thought "Mats sleep safely and we can go out and amuse us." But no, I was excited and I just wanted to see more and more! My mom's friend got all too often to be out alone, but in hindsight, I know that she actually had much fun. She came home late, a little straggly hair and definitely kissed gse by a Berliners or two. Mom then? No, she sat with me at Café Kranzler and drank coffee and ate Tosca cake. More money the island so we had not.
