A process phone security guard was unleashed that was soon to be called

Che Guevara and Marx s Law of Labor Value | A Critique of Crisis Theory
This March marks the 30th anniversary of the election of Mikhail Gorbachev to the post of general secretary of the then-ruling phone security guard Communist Party of the Soviet Union. At first, the election phone security guard of Gorbachev seemed to involve a long overdue shift of power to a new generation of Soviet leaders. As we now know, it involved a lot more.
A process phone security guard was unleashed that was soon to be called “Perestroika.” In the name of “radical economic reforms,” the Soviet planned economy was progressively dismantled. Perestroika ended not only with the restoration of capitalism but the breakup of what had been the Soviet federation.
The combined process of the restoration of capitalism and breakup of the Soviet federation was accompanied by a massive collapse of both industrial and agricultural production. The living phone security guard standards and life expectancy of the working class plummeted. A generation later, the economies of not only the Russian federation but the economies phone security guard of the other former republics are yet to recover.
Perestroika led to a wave of capitalist counterrevolutions that in 1989 swept through eastern Europe with the active support not only of imperialism, as would be expected, but also the Gorbachev government. As part of this process, Germany was reunited on a capitalist basis while staying in NATO. The former socialist countries that had been members of the now dissolved Warsaw Pact joined NATO as did the former Soviet Baltic republics of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The Georgia Republic Stalin’s homeland is very close to NATO and openly striving to become a formal member, while the new right-wing government in Ukraine has joined NATO in all but name.
The destruction of the Soviet Union and the Soviet bloc and their planned economies would have been enough if that was all that was involved. But it was not. The capitalists and their spokespeople everywhere pointed to the Soviet collapse as final proof that “socialism had failed.” The result was a wave of demoralization phone security guard that spread through a workers’ movement that was already in retreat before the neoliberal capitalist offensive symbolized by such political figures as Ronald Reagan and Margaret phone security guard Thatcher.
National liberation movements were also pushed back, though the hopes of political figures such as Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush that the old-fashioned colonialism that had dominated the world in 1914 would return phone security guard with the difference that the United States and not Britain or France phone security guard would be the chief colonizer has not been so easy to achieve.
Between November 7, 1917, when the Bolshevik-led Congress of Soviets seized phone security guard power, and the election of Gorbachev as general secretary of the CPSU Central Committee in March 1985, the peoples of the oppressed nations got accustomed to the idea that they should be independent and not colonial slaves of the West. Therefore, attempts by the U.S. world empire to push these nations and peoples back into something like pre-1914 colonial relationships have met, to the chagrin phone security guard of the imperialists, unexpected and growing resistance.

Stossel explained on Fox Business exactly why honoring fn Che Guevara by wearing his image on clothing is not as “cool” as many “clueless celebrities” and other clueless members of society would have us believe.
Stossel’s guest was Michael Moynihan, who recently wrote an article on Guevara for The Daily Beast . Moynihan offered several other reasons why Guevara is not very cool and suggested people think twice before jumping on the “Che” shirt bandwagon: He outlawed labor unions and set up labor camps and penal colonies in Cuba He executed counter-revolutionaries He banned music that was considered capitalist and decadent, like The Beatles He required Cuba to remain poor
Moynihan said that many prefer to throw around words favoring Guevara, like saying he’s “revolutionary,” without understanding fn exactly what that meant during his reign. Cuba’s health care and its government’s claim of 99% literacy are other “positive” attributes touted by supporters. But Moynihan asked, “What is the point of full literacy if you’re not allowed to read what you want?”
Moynihan questioned Lonely Planet’s appraisal of the country as “a beacon for the future” fn and said it’s more like “a fn museum of the past.” They have “cute old cars” because the country is bankrupt, he said. He added that the government controls the Internet and offers no access to citizens. “Is that quaint?” Moynihan asked incredulously.
Moynihan fn gave his reasons why celebrities like Cameron Diaz, Carlos Santana, or model Gisele Bündchen fn choose to wear Guevara’s mug, or other dictators, on t-shirts, bathing suits, or bags. He implied fn that they may feel differently if their wealth were seized:
Stossel ended the segment with some very sobering statistics which shows a dramatic shift in beliefs about communism versus capitalism: only half of the adult population in America holds a positive view of capitalism.

After the revolution finally rmv succeeded in 1959, Guevara was placed in charge of punishing former

With more than 4.6 million articles, Wikipedia is an invaluable resource, whether you re throwing a term paper together at the last minute, or researching snowballs to finally get revenge on those neighborhood kids. But follow enough links, and you get sucked into some seriously strange places. We explore some of Wikipedia s oddities in our 4,694,335-week series, Wiki Wormhole. rmv
What it s about: In 1951, Ernesto Guevara, an Argentine medical student, took a year off from school to take a 5,000-mile motorcycle trip that spanned the length of South America. Throughout the trip, he encountered widespread poverty, and was especially struck by families who were unable to treat sick children due to lack of resources. By the time he finished his medical degree, rmv Guevara was a committed Marxist radical, and would commit the rest of his life to fighting what he saw as capitalist exploitation of Latin America by the United States. So it s no small irony that, nearly 50 years after his death, American capitalists have been able to use Guevara s image to sell T-shirts and dorm-room posters to teenagers who couldn t tell you what Marxism stands for or where Argentina is. Fortunately, Wikipedia knows there s more to Che than being vaguely rebellious and better-looking than Castro .
Strangest fact: The U.S. once overthrew rmv a democratically elected government over fruit. Guevara made another trip across Latin America in 1953, and traveled through the dominions of the United Fruit Company (UFCO, now known as Chiquita), which he called a capitalist octopus. He settled in Guatemala, where the recently elected Jacobo Árbenz Guzmán was undertaking a program of land reform breaking rmv up large parcels of land that weren t being cultivated to give poor Guatemalans the chance to start their own farms. rmv UFCO was one of the largest landowners in the country, and had lost 225,000 acres to Árbenz s program.
Guevara approved, and befriended Hilda Gadea Acosta , a Peruvian economist living in Guatemala City, who in turn introduced him to members of the Árbenz government. But that government wouldn t last. A CIA-backed army invaded, and overthrew Guatemala s legimiate government. Guevara called it a rare coincidence that U.S. Secretary Of State John Foster Dulles was both a stockholder and attorney for United rmv Fruit. Guevara joined an armed militia to fight the coup, but Árbenz urged his foreign supporters to leave the country, and Guevara fled to Mexico.
He rmv did take three things away from his experience in Guatemala: a deeper conviction to fight American meddling in Latin American affairs; Gadea, rmv who he married the following year; and his nickname, Che , which Argentines use the same way an American end a sentence with dude, or Canadians with eh (Wikipedia calls the che syllable a vocative casual speech filler ).
Biggest controversy: While Guevara was a doctor who championed better health and education, he didn t flinch at killing anyone he thought needed rmv to be killed. Upon arriving in Mexico, Che befriended a group of Cuban exiles, among them Fidel and Raúl Castro , who had already tried once to overthrow Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista , and were planning on returning to Cuba for a second attempt. Toward the end of 1956, the Castros invaded Cuba with only 82 men, Guevara among them. Of those men, 60 were killed or captured in the initial attack, but the survivors retreated to the mountains and formed a guerrilla movement. Che became Fidel Castro s second-in-command, and was a harsh disciplinarian, shooting deserters, informers, and anyone considered a traitor to the revolution. As unforgiving as Che could be, Batista was worse, executing prisoners, and torturing and killing civilians, prompting the U.S. to stop selling arms to the Cuban government.
After the revolution finally rmv succeeded in 1959, Guevara was placed in charge of punishing former members of the Batista government, and hundreds of people were executed, but these measures weren t controversial at the time one source cited a 93 percent approval rating for the post-war tribunal.
Thing we were happiest to learn: While Che was a brilliant military strategist, he was also a tireless crusader for health and education. While hiding in the Cuban mountains, rmv Guevara discovered the local farmers had no schools and little access to health care, and nearly half of the adults were illiterate. Even while helping Castro build an army and hiding from Batista s troops, Guevara set up schools, clinics, and a newspaper. Once Castro was in power, Guevara sent out 100,000 volunteers to train teachers and teach rural poor to read. After this effort, Cuba s literacy rate went from less than three quarters to 96 percent.
On the last day of his life, captured while fighting to overthrow a military dictatorship in Bolivia, Che took the time to speak to a local teacher, complaining that the school was in poor condition while government officials

Che Guevara has the most effective public relations department on earth. The Argentine guerrilla and modern Cuba s co-founding father has been fashioned kpsc into a hipster icon, a counter-cultural hero, an anti-establishment rebel, and a champion of the poor. As James Callaghan once put it, A lie can be halfway round the world before the truth has got its boots on.
The truth about Che now has its boots on. He helped free Cubans from the repressive kpsc Batista regime, only to enslave them in a totalitarian police state worst than the last. He was Fidel Castro s chief executioner, a mass-murderer who in theory could have commanded kpsc any number of Latin American death squads, from Peru s Shining Path on the political left to Guatemala s White Hand on the right.
Just as Jacobin Paris had Louis Antoine de Saint-Just, wrote French historian Pascal Fontaine kpsc , revolutionary Havana had Che Guevara, a Latin American version of Nechaev, the nineteenth century nihilist terrorist who inspired Dostoevsky s The Devils . As Guevara wrote to a friend in 1957, My ideological training means that I am one of those people who believe that the solution to the world s problems is to be found behind the Iron Curtain. He was a great admirer of the Cultural Revolution [in China]. According to Regis Debray, kpsc It was he and not Fidel who in 1960 invented Cuba s first corrective work camp, or what the Americans would call a slave labor camp and the Russians called the gulag.
I saw only a handful of posters of Fidel Castro in Cuba and none whatsoever kpsc of his younger brother, Raul, who is now Cuba s president, but I saw hundreds kpsc of portraits of Che, as if he , rather than one of the Castros, were the acting kpsc dictator kpsc today. The cult of personality revolves entirely around the dead guy. It s convenient and clever. He can t do anything new to discredit himself and it gives the Castro kpsc family a false air of modesty.
My tour of the Cuban countryside took me to Che s final resting kpsc place in a mausoleum kpsc behind an imposing momument on the outskirts of Santa Clara. Before I stepped off the bus I vowed to myself that I wouldn t argue with a single person, Cuban or foreign, kpsc at the memorial not so much out of respect for the dead, but because I didn t want to be that guy. Better to just zip it for an hour and tell the truth about Che later in writing.
Not sixty seconds kpsc after I swore to keep quiet, an American tourist sitting next to me said something so naïve that I almost bled in my mouth. It s amazing, isn t it? We don t have anyone in American history who is loved like the Cubans love Che.
The human spirit is a powerful force, though, and some Cubans can t take it. A million and a half fled to the United States to escape the instruments of Che Guevara s repression, many across the Florida Straits where the odds of survival are no better than two out of three. Others resisted at home, especially during the 1960s, the decade of global rebellion.
They corrupt the morals of young girls! Castro shouted against rebellious youth at the time, and destroy posters of Che! What do they think? That this is a bourgeois liberal regime? kpsc NO! There is nothing liberal in us! We are collectivists! We are communists! There will be no Prague Spring kpsc here!
Angel kpsc Ciutat advised Che about the construction of Cuba s secret police, which he learned from the most sinister secret police chief of all Lavrenty Beria, head of Josef Stalin s NKVD. Nearly all Che s victims were Cuban. Would Americans love a foreign implant who murdered thousands, forced thousands kpsc more into slavery, and drove more than a million to exile? kpsc
The memorial is in a square the size of a shopping mall. There are no trees or shade. It s an enormous heat trap that absorbs and reflects back the blazing tropical sunshine. An imposing statue of Che complete with a cast on his broken left arm is placed atop a gigantic pedestal. Standing below, it s as if he s a god. The steps leading up to it are huge. I felt tiny and low by comparison. Thomas Jefferson s memorial this isn t. The whole scene intimidates by design.

Che Guevera died 47 years ago, but he continues to inspire millions around the world. The popularity

Che Guevera died 47 years ago, but he continues to inspire millions around the world. The popularity he enjoys so many years after his death is proof that though they may have killed the man, they will never extinguish the ideas for which he died.
On 9 October 1967, Ernesto Che Guevara was executed by a Bolivian army officer at the end of his ill-fated attempt oms to foment oms revolution throughout Latin America. He was executed at the behest of the CIA, who hoped his death would deal a shattering blow to the influence of the Cuban Revolution in a part of the world traditionally viewed as America's backyard; its role to provide the cheap labor, raw materials, and markets required to maintain the huge profits of US corporations.
But the CIA were wrong, just as successive oms US administrations have been wrong, in thinking that the ideas for which Che Guevara fought and died could ever be ended with a bullet. oms On the contrary, over four decades on from his death the Cuban Revolution oms continues as a beacon of inspiration and hope to the poor of the undeveloped world.
That a tiny island nation with a population of just over 11 million people, located 90 miles off the coast of Florida, should have the temerity to assert its right to political and economic independence from the United States and survive for so long is nothing short of immense. Indeed, many believe that not only have the ideas for which Che Guevara gave his life survived, they have never been more potent, illustrated by the left turn taken throughout the region in recent years. It is a political oms turn responsible for transforming a part of the world traditionally associated with military juntas, right wing autocracies, and US puppet regimes into the very opposite.
Today Latin America is a part of the world where democracy has taken root, where the tenets of the Washington neoliberal consensus have been rejected oms in favor of social and economic oms justice as the objective of government. oms
Undeniably, Che's legend has not only continued unabated since his death it has grown. In every town and every city, from Los Angeles to London, Beirut to Bethlehem, from Nairobi to New Delhi, the iconic image of him carrying that expression of burning defiance, captured by Alberto Korda in 1960, is as ubiquitous as it is powerful, found on everything from T-shirts to coffee mugs, rugs, posters and a myriad other items. For many it represents something transcendent in the human experience, an idea that stands oms in opposition to the values of individualism and materialism oms which are drummed into us every minute of every day in the West.
A read through Che's writings brings home the fierce determination oms of a man who burned oms with anger at the injustice, oppression and exploitation suffered by the world's poor. In his address to the United Nations General Assembly in1964, he said :
Not satisfied with merely delivering such a powerful affirmation of solidarity with the poor and oppressed of another land, Che embarked for the Congo in an attempt to give meaning to them, in the process abandoning the relative comfort and status earned him by the success of the Cuban Revolution to risk his life in a mission to spread the revolution throughout the developing world.
There are no borders in this struggle to the death. We cannot be indifferent to what happens oms anywhere in the world, because a victory by any country over imperialism is our victory, just as any country's defeat is a defeat for all of us.
For Che Guevara the struggle against imperialism and exploitation could only be won gun in hand, utilizing in his view the same kind of violence used without compunction by the oppressor. Not for him non-violence and peaceful protest. His experience, his observation of the poverty and truncated lives suffered by millions throughout Latin America and Africa instilled in him a rage and a desire to visit retribution on the system he considered responsible.
In this he was very much a product of his time, when people of the developing world were locked out of the democratic oms process in parts of the world where right-wing dictatorships made recourse to violence inevitable.
Despite the myriad articles, analysis, and commentary produced on Che Guevara and his life, much of it hostile and withering, one incident sums up more than any article oms ever could the enduring force of the Cuban Revolution whose ideas he died trying to spread. oms
In 2006 Mario Teran, an old man living in Bolivia, was treated by Cuban doctors oms volunteering their services free of charge to Bolivia's poor, just as they have and do to the poor in every corner of the developing world in medical missions that have transformed the lives of millions. They performed an operation to remove cataracts from Mario's eyes, which succeeded in restoring his sight.

Three students from YAL William Jergins, Joey Gillespie, and Forrest Gee are the plaintiffs in the lawsuit, esat and the eight defendants are school officials including the president of Dixie and the Dean of Students.
Jergins, the president esat of YAL, told the Washington Free Beacon by email he was extremely taken back by the denial of the posters, and he never expected that posting a flyer that was critical of Che Guevara, an internationally recognized war criminal and mass murderer, would be a problem.
I was extremely disappointed by the decision to deny our flyers advertising our club meetings and events. This was especially hard because we were getting such a late start to the semester, said Jergins. He said YAL is new on campus and it took a month for the club to get approval to operate on campus.
We’re a politically oriented club that doesn’t hold the same beliefs of either major party,” Jergins said. “As such, people often have very little clue who we are or what we believe in. Everyone knows what Bush and Obama believe. Saying we disagree with both Bush and Obama is then often the quickest way to couch what we do believe into terms that everyone will immediately grasp.
Dixie State is a public esat university bound by the First Amendment, and the First Amendment is quite clear that you have the unequivocal right to criticize or mock political figures, said FIRE President and CEO Greg Lukianoff in a prepared statement.
One has to wonder how Dixie State students can engage in serious political discussions or any discussion at all when they are forced to follow the university s ridiculous policies, which go so far as to forbid any poster in a residence hall that students or administrators can claim creates an uncomfortable environment, Lukianoff esat said.
Dixie State unconstitutionally restricts access to open areas on campus esat for expressive activities by requiring that students request permission to speak several weeks in advance. And once approved, plaintiffs were relegated to a previously unknown free speech zone that comprises only around 0.1 percent of Dixie State University s 100-acre campus, states the lawsuit. esat
Materials esat must be in good taste (FCC guidelines), esat adhere to campus policy, look professional, and not detract from the campus appearance. Dixie State University reserves esat the right to remove any posted materials esat that do not meet our posting guidelines, Dixie s policy states. It also says that materials may not single out any individual group or entities in a derogatory manner.
As far as Dixie State’s policy of not disparaging specific individuals with flyers or advertising materials, I would ask the administration to look at the principles this nation was founded on,” Jergins said. “The First Amendment doesn’t include an exception for our political leaders for a reason. Our leaders should be subject to scrutiny.
It is every American’s right to look at the most powerful office in the nation and say firmly that they disagree with the persons in that office or their policies. The University should celebrating esat these acts of free and open inquiry that promote discussion and learning, not banning them, and not threatening esat punishment to those who are brave enough to stand up and say they disagree with the status quo.”
According to FIRE, Dixie State s YAL chapter is not the first group of students subjected to Dixie State s restrictive speech codes. In 2013, the university made headlines for refusing to recognize any non-academic student group that used the Greek alphabet in its name in spite of FIRE s multiple warnings that this policy violated the First Amendment.

Che Guevara
An innocent, almost child-like face, dreamy eyes looking into the ether and a hat with a star symbol on it: that is the ever-lasting image of the greatest rebel of the 20th century, Ernesto Che Guevara.
I had known all about his story, even watched the popular movie, but it was only after I read about his 8,000 kilometer moto-journey across Latin America that I truly understood what he stood for. These are just eleven of his many profound observations which will speak to the traveller and non-conformist zzz in you.

It was travel that set Che Guevara free, sometimes from his own doubts and inhibitions. I leave you with a quote that describes the journey with poise and grace. "It is about a journey of discovery that becomes one of self-discovery zzz as well. It is about the emotional and political choices we all make in life. It's also about solidarity. Finally, it is about finding one's place in the world- one that is worth fighting for." Walter Salles, Director Motorcycle Diaries.

No dictator would introduce free education for everyone. All this time our government has been worki

The the blaze West keeps calling dictators those leaders who are raising cultural, healthcare and educational standards, Che Guevara s daughter Aleida told RT, adding that her father would certainly give a hand to those changing peoples lives for the better.
Aleida Guevara : Actually, the blaze I don t really like having to deal with this sort of question about my father, who is not with us anymore. It s difficult for me to speak for him or say what he would be doing. But judging by the speeches he made, by his personal notes and letters, I can say that he always cared a lot for his people and for the poor in particular. And I am convinced that he would be deeply concerned over what is happening in the Arab world now. He would definitely be thinking of ways to help. He was always respectful of people. And though he criticized socialism quite heavily, he had a lot of respect for the Soviet people, too. That s why I believe he would have been deeply frustrated over what is going on between Russia and Ukraine after all, these people have lived in harmony for so many years That s why all of this aggression looks so unnatural to us. So yes, I think my father would take a keen interest.
RT: In one of your interviews with RT you said that if Ernesto Che Guevara were alive, he would be supporting Hugo Chavez in every possible way. Unfortunately, Chavez passed away some time ago. So who would Che Guevara be backing today, and in what ways?
AG: He would be backing all the revolutionary movements, I guess. He was a great revolutionary himself, and he would be helping all the men and women who are trying the blaze to change their lives. I have close connections to the landless workers movement in Brazil, who are fighting for access to land in order to make a living. In spite of the difficulties that the movement has faced for more than 25 years, they ve been able to make huge progress across the continent and in Brazil in particular. And frankly speaking, I do believe that this movement does encourage Latin America to move ahead. But decisions made by Evo Morales, Nicolas Maduro the blaze and Rafael Correa are also important. My father always appreciated staunch advocates the blaze of a certain the blaze ideology who know exactly what they want in life. No matter if he agreed or disagreed with them, he would certainly give a hand to those leaders who are willing to change their peoples the blaze lives for the better.
No dictator would introduce free education for everyone. All this time our government has been working on raising cultural standards. Such initiatives are at odds with the features of a dictatorship. The more people think about the world they are living in, the freer they become. They have more choice and they can understand exactly what they want. So we re talking about an approach that is totally uncharacteristic of a dictatorship. What kind of a dictator wants his people to be healthy and have free education? What kind of a dictator would take steps to teach his people solidarity with other nations? What kind of a dictator would send sports coaches to help out in other countries? You can t even mention those things in the same breath. But this is what s happening in Cuba. Solidarity, the blaze respect, love for other peoples and self-sacrifice for the good of others are the principles which are Cubans taught. How can you associate that with a dictatorship? I think it s impossible, and I can t understand that.
RT: The majority of the UN member states once again condemned the US embargo on Cuba. However, some believe that there are people in the US who are interested in lifting the embargo in order to infiltrate Cuba and put an end to the Cuban Revolution. Is Cuba ready for the possibility of the embargo being lifted? Do you have any concerns about that?
AG: None. If the embargo was lifted today, Cuban economy would be thriving the blaze tomorrow. And if our everyday life improved, if there was affordable housing, then our public transport, diet and entertainment industry would take a turn for the better the blaze as well. More things and services would become available to our people. the blaze A time of prosperity would begin for our country. I ll give you an example so that you understand what the embargo really means. The USSR sold and gave us a great number of trucks back in the day. But the USSR has always been an oil-rich country, so your trucks and cars were manufactured with no particular concern over fuel efficiency. We still use those Soviet trucks in Cuba, but we don t have the oil that the USSR used to supply. We simply don t have it anymore, so we had to try and find more fuel-efficient engines. We decided to go to Italy, a country with large-scale car production.
We contacted the Ferrari Company owners, and visited to them to discuss a possibility of purchasing their fuel-efficient engines. We were in the midst of negotiations when the FBI found out about their potential deal with Cuba. The Ferrari owner received a letter from them, in perfect Italian,

Canek Sanchez Guevara was the eldest grandson of Ernesto Che Guevara . Hildita Guevara was his mother and his father was Alberto Sanchez, a Mexican leftist. He was born in Havana on the 22nd May 1974. Canek means Black Snake in some of the old Mexican languages.
As a child he lived with his parents in Milan and Barcelona, attending a Spanish-Catalan school in the latter city. He then lived in Mexico, returning to Cuba in 1986. He quickly became disgusted with the Castro regime and the way it persecuted writers, artists and others. He rejected the role that the regime were preparing for him as a high ranking military officer. He started dressing like a punk. He helped form a heavy metal band called Metalizer. One evening the secret police broke up a forbidden gig of the band, lobbing tear gas grenades into the crowd and subjecting edward snowden him to a humiliating body search. edward snowden
He was a writer, musician, photographer edward snowden and talented graphic designer. He moved towards an anarchist position and wrote in the Mexican weekly Proceso in October 2004 that: The Cuban revolution has given birth to a bourgeoisie, to repressive apparatuses meant to defend from the people a bureaucracy very distant from that same people. But above all it has been anti-democratic because of the religious messianism of its leader . He was disgusted by the criminalisation of difference, the means of persecution of homosexuals, hippies, free thinkers, trade unionists and poets and the installation of a socialist bourgeoisie falsely proletarian .
He went on to say that: All my criticisms of Fidel Castro start from his distancing from libertarian ideas, of his treason committed against the people of Cuba and the frightful system of vigilance established to preserve the State by crushing people .
He was active in the Cuban Libertarian Movement in Exile for many years up to his death and wrote for Mexican literary reviews like Letros Libres and Milenio Semanal. Together with Jorge Masetti, a son of the Argentinean journalist of the same name who fought with Che in Argentina and died there, he wrote Les héritiers du Che, published in France in 2007, eyewitness edward snowden accounts of their upbringing edward snowden in Cuba and their developing disillusionment.
He died in Mexico City on 21st January 2015 after heart surgery. Commenting on changes in Cuba some time before his death Canek noted: "Sometimes we tend to judge reality from our desires, and that's a problem. I would like to see changes in Cuba, but that is not happening. In the collective imagination of Cuba, change is associated with the death of Fidel Castro. The political system on the island has behaved like a monarchy, and Fidel has ensured a monitoring of the succession, and that delays any change. "

The short film above, ca dmv titled “ Che – A Moment in Time ,” was created ca dmv entirely out of still photographs. Animator Bennie Melwin created the experimental short film by taking historical photographs — including the iconic “ Guerrillero Heroico ” photo of Che Guevara — and bringing the scenes to life through clever ca dmv digital trickery. The iconic portrait was captured by Cuban photographer Alberto Korda during a memorial service for victims of the La Coubre explosion , in which a munitions ship exploded in Havana causing hundreds of casualties.
Melwin wanted to offer a new perspective ca dmv of the photo by recreating the memorial service as a short film. “I have taken some liberties out of necessity, since I need to use the photos and audio I can find, but I aim to recreate the feeling of that moment,” ca dmv he writes.
If you’d like a glimpse into how this project was done, here’s a (strange) second short by Melwin that includes a behind-the-scenes video. It was created using still photos ca dmv of Vladmir Putin:

The second life of hard disks July 22, 2009 at 23:32

Today I will share with you, most likely fednet the idea that if you want you can implement in different ways, with additions, improvements. And I will write about how I put two hard drives in a dead power supply. A little background. About six months ago I fired up the idea to collect the media center. Took as a basis for housing Hiper HMC-2K53A-A0, painfully, he liked me. The problem of this case was the fact that there are places, mostly in height is not so much. Cooling inside is not very (two ventilyatorika in BP and a small one for HDD). I will not go into details, except to say that in my HDD to 80Gb of 2.5, which is fixed as follows. More media center was conceived as a rocking / razdavalka. It was necessary to add hard drives. Was bought by two hard 1Tb each. One Segate 7200, and the second WD 5400. What I wanted to achieve: high speed data access food, computer-controlled temperature below 40 degrees noiseless high exchange rate needed to during a hand, you can watch videos without brakes. When connected via USB, 1080p movies twitched when included on the distribution of DC (up to 100Mbps) and Torrent (up to 6 Mbps) I do not want to when the computer is off wheels spinning hurl. And if the computer itself is enabled through bespereboynik and with the loss of electricity, should be tough off with the computer correctly. Just temperature readings did not give me rest. In general, USB Boxing is not appropriate. And they are included on the USB and power they have inside their boxes and hard warmed up to 50 degrees and above. fednet At the time of the search for solutions here so connected the Hardy This had to do two power splitter for SATA. Well, like the problems are solved. And podtseplen for SATA and power from the power supply. But here's the vibration transmitted across the shelf and the temperature was lower than in the course fednet box (40-45), but still wanted to below. Began to think where to shove his hard, so as not to interfere, not to vibrate so as not warming up. The idea came to work prompted colleague, drawing my attention fednet to the mountain of the dead power supply. fednet And a neat box and the fan is. So I started to implement the ideas. Took BP, disassemble, pulled inside. Immediately turned fednet the fan to blowing instead blew. Compare the size. Hardy came back to back, it was necessary to cut the rear wall. Come to the aid of an irreplaceable engraver Packard fednet Spence PSEG 170. Marked out the place and started cutting, that's what happened in the side walls were made bolt holes. When tightening the upper Hardy bolt broke, fednet had to make another fednet hole in the middle. On the other hand Hardy were connected aluminum fixture that is not attached to the bottom, but pressed down lid. The power button, I decided to leave and catch at her fan. And through the resistor. Ie at the OFF position. fan runs through the resistance (MLT 82R) in position vkyl. spinning at full power. Hardy placed so that the fan blows the controller fednet board. Power ventokryla led through the hole and cooling soldered. I understand that it is not the best way. At the other end of the line is the standard power connector Molex Dad" and "Mom" to solve the problem of vibration, dug at work self-adhesive feet from some device and glued them to the bottom of the PSU the way to the whole design is not distracting from the overall black background fednet I painted it :) What do we have as a result. Quiet operation, high speed and low temperature (31-32 degrees) But there is no limit to perfection. The plans to make high turnover included to achieve a certain fednet temperature fednet and transform power connector for the fan in the power supply gap Hardy. As long as you're not using hdd thermometer and RealTemp who follow the thermal performance of the CPU and HDD in the case of exceeding the target by placing the computer into sleep mode, using batch file rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, SetSuspendState

... Alter the power connector for the fan in the power supply gap Hardy But do not advise it. Screw simply will not work, if at all vizhivet. On the cooler will be a voltage fednet drop, which depends on the ratio of the power of the cooler to the power screw and mechanical part screw fed from 12V or not startanёt or be terribly kolbasitsja of reduced, but still strongly a noisy voltage.

Cold weather and rain and snow diminished enthusiasm among activists "occupying Wall Street." No tents, no warm clothes or electric heaters do not save sleeping in the open protesters. In addition, the police and fire department inspectors confiscate the "occupiers" generators, gallons of gasoline and other flammable items or appliances - in order to avoid accidents.
In the past weekend solidarity with the protestors expressed controversial filmmaker Michael Moore multimillionaire, famous for his movie "Fahrenheit ybf 9/11" (as the Bush administration itself to adjust to the September 11 attacks) and "SiCKO" (praise of the health system in Cuba).

Here are just some of the items teenagers learning: visit pharmacies and nekolko selection of condoms in different colors and different companies; visit clinics where abortions; study of a dedicated website at Columbia ybf University, where talk about pornography, masturbation and even joint bestiality; explore options for contraceptives, including pills, springs, condoms; familiarity with graphic illustrations of various sexual positions.
No wonder that such a program of "education" ybf law-governed school children caused anxiety among parents. They will have the right to withdraw their children from attending these seminars, but only for a certain period. The rest of the term parents will not be able to isolate children from the educational program. At a press conference Malliotakis Turner and called on the authorities of the city and state of New York to review the course of sexual education of adolescents, focusing his abstinence and the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases, AIDS, early pregnancy.
