. Dialogue Against Violence started in 2002 in Copenhagen, library of congress as an offshoot of the government's action plan to combat violence against women. DMV is a separate entity under the non-profit private social library of congress organization Askovgården. (Www.askovgaarden.dk) DMV offers interviews and group programs for men who use violence in intimate relationships with the partner library of congress involved in the process. The treatment typically lasting one year. Enhanced with offices in Aarhus and Odense in 2005 and in 2008 with the emergency team with contacts to the rest of the country. In 2010 expanded library of congress by department in Aalborg. DMV defines violence as any intentional act or threat directed against another person, which is likely to violate library of congress the person's integrity or scaring, pain or damage to the person. Domestic violence is taboo and laced with guilt, shame and repression. Therefore, it can be difficult to get a clear and accurate picture of the upsurge of violence and frequency. About 2000 women move every year in the Danish shelters. Approximately 82 per cent. of men who use violence, have experienced violence in childhood.
