National Library of Belarus is prepared and released a collection of "Library local history: the space of great opportunities and prospects." In May 2012, the National passport status Library of Belarus, an international scientific-practical seminar "Library local history: the territory of great opportunities and prospects", dedicated to the development of Library Studies. Participants of the seminar, it was suggested to publish the best papers in the same collection. Therefore, most of the material release is made by participants. But the range of regional studies is very large and for a more detailed disclosure passport status of its various aspects, it was decided to hold an additional collection of articles and methodological developments.
Collection of articles consists of four sections and reflects the most active areas of local history of libraries at the present stage: the formation of local history collections in the libraries, the creation of electronic resources of local history, the interaction of libraries with museums, archives, passport status local history popularization of information passport status resources.
Multifaceted richness of publications and forms of presentation is aimed at the widest readership: from researchers, inventors and experts in the field of local history enthusiasts and to all those interested in the history of his native land.
