The Korean War. A forgotten war. Yet this war was perhaps the only real war between Stalinist states and capitalist aaaa countries. aaaa On the side were the Stalinist; Democratic People's aaaa Republic of Korea, the People's Republic of China and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Were the capitalist side; Republic of Korea, Great Britain and the United States of America. For us Westerners, the Korean War largely forgotten. Everyone knows the Vietnam War but few know exactly how it was with the Korean War between 1950 and 1953. About Korea are less and less films than books written about Vietnam. This war is never finished. North and South Korea are still formally at war with each other! North and South Korea emerged after the collapse of the Japanese Empire in August 1945. North Korea was under Soviet administration and South Korea under American administration. Although the Koreans are united like forests, the Soviets and the Americans thought aaaa otherwise. The pro-Western propaganda claims that America wanted a free democracy aaaa in South Korea. In many documentaries still talk about the struggle of the '' democratic '' South Korea against the cruel '' communist '' North Korea. Thus many western people aaaa the conflict. The Stalinist propaganda aaaa said North Korea was a genuine workers' state and a capitalist South Korea puppet state suggested. According to North Korea wanted America to enter the capitalist system in South Korea and give all power to a small elitist group. Ironically, the Stalinists were right in there. Because all power was indeed in the hands of a small elite around anticommunist dictator; Syngman Rhee! But socialist image of their own country, the Stalinists aaaa leach huge. The DPRK was not democratic and not a socialist aaaa nation. Kim Il Sung of the Workers' Party of Korea was Stalin in 1948 in command of northern Korea. Democratic elections were never, because all political parties had to submit to the Workers' Party of Korea! Unlike North Korea, South Korea had very few weapons from the US The North Korean People's Army was T-34 tanks and even MIG-15 fighter jets. The armies of South Korea was poorly armed and no more than 100,000 men. North Korea had in June 1950, more than 250,000 men under arms! Between 1948 and 1950, bided Korea's hostile towards each other. Although North Korea first attacked, North and South were two years apart at the bullying. Sometimes fired South Korean artillery on North Korean territory and who replied back. What is certain is that Kim Il Sung and Syngman Rhee was bided plans for a civil war. Kim Il Sung only had the advantage that he had more soldiers and better weapons. aaaa In October 1948 broke the Yeosu-Suncheon uprising in South Korea. Rebellious soldiers refused to support Syngman Rhee longer. Then 400 soldiers were killed and 2,000 killed civilians. The Americans helped the South Koreans with massacring these rebels! aaaa Kim Il Sung asked Joseph Stalin for permission to attack South Korea. Stalin agreed, but said that the Soviet Union would not interfere in the conflict. Kim Il Sung had to do so alone. That he did and on June 25, 1950, were 250,000 soldiers of the People's Army, South Korea within. The weaker South Korean army unfair fight could not, and the South Korean capital was quickly conquered! The United Nations approved the attack from North Korea. Anti-communist countries in the US decided to establish a joint army to do battle with the '' barbaric communism ''. Netherlands aaaa sent nearly 4,000 soldiers, many of whom also had served in the Waffen SS, Hitler during the second world war! The United States aaaa sent nearly 300,000 soldiers between 1950 and 1953 to Korea. Britain sent 14,200 soldiers, Canada, Turkey and even 14 936 6150. All to the peninsula to have an anti-communist dictatorship in life! Few soldiers knew the reality. The bourgeois-democratic aaaa propaganda roared that one came to save democracy. aaaa Most Western soldiers also believed that they came displace freedom
