Texas Semper hera Fi pledges talk next commits, Holton Hill's top school - Burnt Orange Nation

Three Texas Longhorns commits participated in the 2015 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl on Sunday evening and 247Sports caught up with Fort Bend Ridge point linebacker Cameron Townsend, defensive end Charles Omenihu, and South Oak Cliff safety Jamile Johnson.

The noticeable omission? Aledo wide receiver Ryan Newsome, which may have just been a slip by the defensive end being put on the spot. At this point, UCLA is still a contender and Tennessee is in the mix as well, but it's hard to see the elite return man and dynamic slot receiver picking either of those schools, especially with the recent Texas recruiting momentum.
Since cornerback remains the single biggest need for the class in the weeks leading up to National Signing Day, some further confirmation that finishing with Boyd and Hill remains likely is excellent news to complete a well-rounded class.
