GARB hearing or House Bill 374, laid representatives of farmer groups need to alleviate their suffering through the free distribution of land, proposed by GARB.
Committee hearing, Ramos shared his personal experience as part of a third generation of family farmers. Pahilga added that under the current Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program Extension with Reforms (CARPER), thousands of land repossession of the DAR and the landlords due to Opinion 44 of the Department of Justice, allowing the reclassification of land with residential, commercial or industrial.
